Greetings, and welcome to a legendary journey. If you decide to read this story you will discover the world is much different than what you think. A lot of the so-called made-up legends are actually true. The creatures that you think are made-up are real. Extraterrestrials are also real. The earth is actually hollow inside and that is where the “non-humans” live. The hollowed earth area is referred to by all as Inner Earth and the actual surface is referred to as Outer Earth.
Jeremy Williams is the first, but not the only, legend I will tell you about on this incredible journey. Jeremy knows a lot about the subject of mythical creatures. His journey started on his first day of college. He decided to attend Capital State University in Washington, DC because his legal guardian, Professor Patrick Hollenworth, taught at the school and pretty much forced him to go there. Jeremy was one of those quiet types, real nice, you know, had some good friends, but not really popular. He grew up in the Midwest, Columbus, Ohio to be exact, so moving to the big city was a big change for him. Jeremy moved in with Professor Hollenworth after the deaths of his parents in a freak accident at the age of 10. His father’s friend, Professor Patrick Hollenworth, agreed to take him in, and he gave Jeremy a good life.
On the first day of school, Jeremy got up and put on a CD of himself and his friends. He was twenty-two years old. Jeremy and his friends were trying to make it big in music. The band was popular, but they just hadn’t had their one big break yet. As he brushed his teeth, he yelled for the professor. “Strange”, he thought, “I was sure that the Professor was going to walk with me to school once again trying to assure me that I’m not going to regret the choice that I made to go to college.” Jeremy finished grooming himself and was out the door. Professor Hollenworth lived only a half a mile off campus so even though Jeremy was running a little late he was still able to make it to class on time.
Jeremy opened the door to the Auditorium and walked into the room. He saw that there were plenty of seats, as there were only eight people, including the professor and himself. Jeremy walked down the middle of the aisle and finally stopped about halfway down and decided that he was going to sit there. Jeremy sat. As Jeremy looked at the professor he got a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. Professor Hollenworth tried to pick up his glass of water from his desk, but his hand was shaking so bad that he couldn’t. The class sat in silence as 8:00am passed. Jeremy wondered and waited for class to begin. At 8:10am, another student walked in.
Professor Hollenworth yelled at the late student, “Where have you been and why are you so late?”
The student looked around at everybody in the class. He stared at Professor Hollenworth and smirked. He put his hand up to salute, saying, “Jake Campbell, reporting for duty, Sir.”
Professor Hollenworth got very upset. All of a sudden he came from behind his desk and walked directly up to Jake, getting in his face. He pushed the book bag, which Jake had just set down, off his desk, and yelled, “Do you think that this is a joke?” Then, looking at everyone in the room, he said, “This is the most important day of your lives.”
Maria stood up. “Sir, are you okay?”
Jake said, looking puzzled, “Yeah! What’s wrong with you, Sir?”
Professor Hollenworth saw the look on Jake’s and Maria’s faces, then he looked at the rest of the class. He realized that they all were staring at him like he was crazy. Even Jeremy, who thought that he knew all about the Professor, was staring at Professor Hollenworth in disbelief. The professor adjusted his glasses and said in a calm voice, “I apologize for my behavior. Please, let me start over.” Then picking up Jake’s bag off the floor and placing it back on Jake’s desk he said, “Just give me two minutes to explain.” Professor Hollenworth put his fingers on his chin and started to pace back and forth, as he gathered his thoughts.
“It all began back in 1969 when a bus of young people were on their way to Woodstock. A craft suddenly appeared in the air out of nowhere. A beam of light came from the craft, concentrating on the bus. To everyone on the bus it seemed as if time stopped; watches stopped, a kid’s toy which had began falling had stopped in mid-air. Suddenly, the people started to vanish, nine in all. They appeared on the craft and were laid on cold, steel, bed-like objects. The people were fully aware of what was going on, but could not move or do anything to stop what was happening. The craft was full of several Extraterrestrials that immediately started running tests on them. The tests seemed to go on forever as time continued to stand still.
Breaking the cold silence, one of the Extraterrestrials started to speak to them. Surprisingly, he spoke to them telepathically and the people realized they could do the same. He said, “We apologize for any inconvenience, but the fate of your world is in danger. What you call myths are in fact living beings just like yourself who live in Inner Earth. For centuries humans, and every other being, have lived with each other peacefully. Then came the Great War. After two decades of battle, a treaty was finally agreed upon. The humans received Outer Earth and all other beings received Inner Earth. We mediated the treaty and it has maintained until now. Some of the other beings are using physically strengthening drugs and technology to enhance their natural abilities. If we don’t do something now, they will surpass our power. We are the peace-keepers of Earth, the defenders of humanity. So it’s our responsibility to stop the Inner Earth beings from trying to harm mankind. We are merging our DNA with your reproductive organs. Your children will have unbelievable talents.”
A woman spoke up. Even though she couldn’t move, she had a sadness about her. “Kids should have the right to make their own path in life” she said. A tall Extraterrestrial walked over to the woman. As he gazed at her, he said to a shorter Extraterrestrial, “Give this one the royal gene.” They completed their procedures, and just as the passengers appeared on the craft, they reappeared the same way back on the bus, remembering nothing.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are the offspring of the abducted people on that bus.” Professor Hollenworth looked out into his class of students to see them staring back at him as if he was even crazier than they had first believed. Even Jeremy thought Professor Hollenworth was not all there. Tajuan flashed a smirk. “If this is true, then why don’t we have any super powers?” “We all have special light cells in our body,” Professor Hollenworth explained. “They just have to be activated.”
“So, which one of us has this royal gene?” blurted Floyd.
“That would be my adopted son, Jeremy. He is our leader,” the professor said with pride.
Angrily Floyd stood up. “I’m sorry. I can’t stomach any more of this,” he said. “When I saw this class on my schedule I knew it was a mistake.”
Just then Professor Hollenworth’s pager went off. As he looked at it, his face grew pale. Frantically, he started grabbing items and throwing them into his bag. “I know that you think that I’m crazy, but if you want to live I suggest that you follow me,” he said as he opened the window and jumped out.
Everyone stared at the open window in awe for a moment, wondering what was going on. Eventually Jeremy stood up. “Guys,” he said, “I have never seen him act like this before. Maybe we should go with him to make sure that he doesn’t hurt himself or anyone else.” Jeremy slowly approached the window and jumped out following the professor.
The students sat bewildered, unsure of what to do. Sam stood up and said, “We don’t have anything to lose, so we might as well go with them and make sure that the Professor is okay.” Hesitantly, the remaining students stood up and made their way to the window to follow the Professor and Jeremy.

As this was going on, a well-dressed man walked into the school’s Administration building. He leaned over the secretary’s desk and smiled. “Detective Howard Hunter,” he said, as he flashed her his badge.
“How may I help you?” she asked.
Howard said, “I need to know if there are any classes about extraterrestrials.”
The secretary interrupted him rudely. “Sorry, first year, Dean Johnson is in his office.”
Howard responded “Did you say Johnson?”
“Yes,” she answered as she started to page the dean when Howard ran over and barged into his office slamming the door behind him. “Put down the phone!” Howard commanded.
As the dean slowly put down the phone, Howard said, “Let’s cut the crap, where are they!”
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” denied the dean. Howard replied, “Move,” as he pushed the dean out of his way and began tearing through the desk drawers.
Dean Johnson yelled, “Stop! You have no right!”
Howard continued to go through the dean’s desk. Dean Johnson watched Howard with horror, and began to sweat. Then, growing desperate, he jumped on Howard’s back and stabbed him with a letter opener he found on his desk. Howard threw the dean to the floor and he pulled the letter opener out of his shoulder. The wound immediately started to heal. Howard coldly pulled out his gun and shot Dean Johnson in the chest as he was trying to stand up.
“They are all together. Earth still has a chance,” the dean said, as he fell to his death. Howard, smiling coldly, said, “We’ll see about that,” as he continued going through the dean’s desk. Howard noticed Urban Myths101 Auditorium. He took off running down the hallway and kicked open the door. “DC Police,” he yelled. Nobody was there. Howard looked around and noticed that the window was open. He heard the sound of a vehicle revving up. He quickly approached the window to notice one of the school’s van was speeding out of the parking lot. He jumped out the window to give chase.

Meanwhile, in the van, they were having their own problems. Jeremy put his hand on Professor Hollenworth’s shoulder. “It’s going to be alright,” he said. “We’ll go for a little ride and then we’ll visit the campus’ doctor. Maybe you’re just under a little too much stress.”
Professor Hollenworth turned around and yelled, “I am perfectly sane. You must listen to me!”
John, driving the van, looked in the rear view mirror. “Those are police lights. I’m pulling over,” he said.
Grabbing the wheel, the professor yelled, “He’s not trying to pull us over. He’s trying to kill us!” John and Professor Hollenworth looked at each other while both holding the wheel. Suddenly, the back window shattered.
“I told you, he is trying to kill us!” yelled Professor Hollenworth.
John slammed on the brakes. Howard’s car ran into the back of the van. The front of Howard’s car was destroyed. John hit the gas and they were off again. Howard climbed out of the wrecked car and saw the radiator steaming. Angrily he turned toward the van as it sped away. As he began running, he changed into a werewolf.
“I can’t believe what I’m seeing,” said John, glancing into the rear view mirror.
Professor Hollenworth said, “He’s a werewolf called Howler, from the Society of Demons or SOD for short.”
Howler ran after the van. He jumped high into the air, landing on the back bumper. He stuck his head in through the broken window he had shot out, and began to crawl into the van. He could see the fear on the students faces. Suddenly John made a hard left turn, throwing Howler off. Howler slowly got up, and realized that the van was too far away for him to catch.
As John drove, there was complete silence with the exception of the occasional direction from Professor Hollenworth. The students just stared behind them in disbelief as they got further and further from the werewolf. Jeremy himself was replaying the previous scene over and over in his head thinking, “I must be dreaming. Did I really just witness a werewolf trying to kill me?” Finally Professor Hollenworth said, “Turn off this road! Stop right here!”
They got out of the van and Floyd ran toward Professor Hollenworth. Sam, seeing that Floyd was going to attack the professor, grabbed Floyd and asked “What are you doing?!”
“You’re ruining our lives!” Floyd yelled at the Professor. “You got the law after us and now we’re hiding in the state park!”
John said, “Sam, let him go.”As Sam took his hands off Floyd, John got in his face and said, “What’s your problem? What Professor Hollenworth said must be true, because I’ve never seen a policeman shoot at regular people before. And I know that was all our first time seeing a werewolf. Now if you want to go, go! But it seems to me that our best bet for surviving this is to stick together.”
Apologizing, Floyd said, “My bad. It’s just...”
Professor Hollenworth interrupted, “I know it’s a lot to take in. I have known about this all my life and I still find it hard to believe. This is just your first day of exposure. Now come, we don’t have much time.” They followed the professor through the state park to a large tree. Professor Hollenworth walked around the tree pulling off what looked like bark. There, under the bark, were handprint’s circling the tree. “Help me, guys,” said Professor Hollenworth, as he put his hand on one of the handprints. They all put their hands on the other handprints. Suddenly the tree slid out of the way, leaving a large dark hole in its place.
Dortha looked down the hole and stated in a stern voice, “There’s no way I’m going down in this hole.”
“I’ll hold your hand,” Tajuan said, grabbing her hand. Dortha gave him a look of disgust as she pulled away from him.
Maria said, “Stop playing. We have got to stick together.” One by one they began climbing into the hole.
Once everyone was at the bottom, the floor started to light up. They followed the light on the floor until they made it to a glass boxed room.
Professor Hollenworth shone a flashlight at what looked like a petrified mummy. The mummy’s eyes soon turned black. Its skin started to turn gray.
Everyone watched in amazement. “As that thing absorbs the light, the more it looks like an Extraterrestrial,” Floyd said.
“That’s exactly what it is,” Professor Hollenworth interjected.
